Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).
The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) is a law which ensures that all businesses and services don’t discriminate against people with disabilities. This applies to both public and private businesses that provide goods and services to the general population.
Employers are from against persons with disabilities in under the DDA. Employers can be held liable for if they refuse to make reasonable to their workplace.
Service providers must also make reasonable to enable people to use their services. This means that they must try to make changes such as a ramp, information in a different way or offering extra help.
